Enrolment Information
The Shapland Swim School at Everton Park Swim School, like all Shapland Swim Schools, runs a seamless learn-to-swim program so you never have to rebook your spot. Simply book in the class that best suits you and your family and you are guaranteed your spot every week without needing to rebook!
Swim Lesson Fee Structure
All of our classes are charged monthly in advance by the calendar month. Per family a deposit of $92.00 is held to secure your child’s weekly swim class. This deposit will be deducted from your last month’s fees, so you aren’t out of pocket.
Weekday class: $23.00 (2 x classes a week on a week day for the same child $39)
Saturday class: $24.00
Sibling discount: To support families we offer a reduced fee of $19.50 for weekday classes for a third child and $12.50 for a fourth child of siblings already enrolled in one of our programs. On Saturdays we offer a reduced fee of $20.50 for a third sibling and $13.50 for a fourth sibling.

Swim Classes
Each and every of our swim classes have a maximum of only 3 children per class. This is to ensure we optimise your child’s learning through focused attention, fun and reduced distractions. Our airconditioned observation area provides parents and loved ones the opportunity to watch each swim class in quiet comfort.
Flexible Make-up lesson
We understand that life can get busy sometimes, and that flexibility to support your childs learning is important. That’s why we offer the option to reschedule your child’s class to a better time that suits when needed. Simply remove your child from their class prior to 5pm the day before their scheduled time and then re-book them for a new desired time when suits you. You can do all this through the MySSS Client Portal or simply call or email us.
Want to book your FREE make-up lesson? The easiest way is to log into the MySSS online system or call us directly on the day you want to have your class. It is swim school policy not to schedule make-up lessons more than one day in advance.
Our unique pool design
Our state-of-the-art swim facility is uniquely designed for you and your child’s needs in mind. With several different depths to support progressive learning your child can gain confidence and develop their skills quickly.
Heated pool
At Shaplands the comfort of your child is our top priority. That’s why our pool is set at 32 degrees Celsius all year round. As children generally have a low percentage body fat, our 7 decades of teaching experience has taught us that they usually feel cold in water below 32 degrees Celsius. It is important to us that every child, as well as their parent who enters the water with them feels comfortable in the water. This ensures that the activity of swimming brings joy and your child’s learning can be optimised.
Magna Mineral Water – A Miracle!
Shaplands are dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of your child. Because we understand that some children have eyes and skin that are sensitive, we use Magna mineral pool water. This innovation in water science provides Shapland’s with a healthier water for your children to learn-to-swim and bathe in. Not only is it gentle on eyes, and therapeutic for the skin, it also naturally sanitises the pool water 24/7.

Expertise and safety are our priority, and we ensure each of our teachers are highly trained and nationally certified. All of our teachers are AUST SWIM/ASCTA qualified and are Blue Card holders with CPR and first aid training. They also receive continuous swim training to ensure ongoing safety compliance and expertise.
And, because learning should be fun, each member of our team shares a deep passion for the water and pride themselves of providing a fun, safe and engaging learning environment where your child will flourish.
Most importantly, we value building strong bonds with our pupils and their families because this not only creates a great swim community, but also fosters feelings of security for your child in the pool. That’s why we aim to have stable teachers and avoid changing your child’s teacher as much as possible. This means your child gets to know their teacher, forms a secure and trusted relationship with them. This in turn enhances their learning and skill development.

Welcome to Shapland Swim School Everton Park. Our philosophy as a family knows the importance of children learning to swim and the lifelong skill it gives them.
The team brings with them a depth of experience, in not only running a swim school, but in water safety and swim teaching. Sally Dommett has owned this Franchise since 2007. Sally also owns the Shapland Swim School at Kallangur with John Dommett, a school they built in 1992 as the first Shapland franchise. Cheryl, the school manager at Everton Park, has been a part of the team for over 18 years. She also manages the Kallangur Swim School and is always happy to help with any questions you have.
At Everton Park the team focus on high quality industry qualified instructors that are stable. This is because they know the importance of this for your child’s confidence and sill development. As a result, they avoid changing their teachers as much as possible. This commitment alongside only three pupils per class and a maximum of two classes in the pool at any one time, maximises your child’s individual attention. The team are proud to celebrate that this personalised approach has contributed to a selection of their former pupils competing at a state, national and Olympic level swimming competitions. However more importantly, hundreds of their pupils have used their Personal Aquatic Survival Skills to avoid a drowning or near death by drowning incident.
